Using 35mm Film in Holga
try it folks
The films
Two type of film usually we use is negative film (C41) and the slide film (E6). Negative film is normal film that we use and easy to find at the normal photo shops. Slide film is a professional film that mostly use by a pro photographer for images intended for reproduction in print media. This is because of the films high contrast and high image resolution. So how u want to which one is slide or negative film just see the at the box or at the film itself will show the process E6 for slide film and C41 for normal negative film.
Film also got in different sizes but mostly lomographer will used a 35mm and 120mm format and it also depends on your camera like holga and diana+ can load a 120mm format. Film also got a few different color formats like color film which is normal negative or slide film, black and white film and the red scale film.

But most of lomographer will choose the slide film then cross process (Xpro) then they will got color shifts, high contrast, and other such freaking stuff.
Cross processing (Xpro)
Cross process (Xpro) is a technique of processing a film that using different type of chemical. Today got 2 type of film usually we use which is negative film and slide film. To process the negative film we must used a C41 chemical and slide film is E6. So the cross process mean is when you use the slide film then cross process it by using the C41 chemical which is supposed to process with a negative film. Normally nowadays all the photo lab use a C41 chemical to process the negative film because negative film is easy to get and also cheap than slide film. All local photo lab near around you mostly don’t know about cross process and all slide film that you send to them they will process with C41 chemical. See what you get when you process your film by using the “wrong” chemicals.

Most of lomograper today do the Xpro to get a wild and unpredictable results like heavy color shifts, increased contrast, over-saturation, and a funky greenish-yellow tint.
